Individual Therapy

Individual therapy can offer clients an opportunity to connect on a one-on-one level with a therapist to work through thoughts, goals, experiences and needs without fear of judgement.

I work with children, teens, young adults and professionals around a variety of topics including trauma, suicidality, anxiety and depression, self-harm, grief and loss, attachment, core beliefs and more.

My approach to your situation will be directed by what your needs and goals are in therapy. See my About Me section to learn more about the approaches I’m trained in.

The individual therapy process usually starts with a free 15 minute consultation appointment where we can explore what you’re looking for in a therapist, what your expectations are for the therapy process, and if we both agree that I’m the best fit to support you in working towards your therapy goals. If we both feel it’s a good fit we will move on to scheduling our first full 50 minute appointment.

If you’re wondering what therapy appointments can look like, how long people are in therapy, or what costs are associated (and potentially covered by insurance benefits) you might find it helpful to check out my Frequently Asked Questions. If you don’t find an answer to your question feel free to send me a message and I’ll be happy to get back to you within 48 hours.
